Chinese Beef Noodles Slow Cooker Recipe - Syn Free

Ingredients:
400g Stewing steak (all visible fat removed)
1 Diced onion
1 Diced red pepper
1 Diced green pepper
2 Sticks of thinly sliced celery
1.5 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder
0.5 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
0.5 tbsp Light soy sauce
1 tsp sweetener
0.5 tsp Chilli powder (optional)
Handful of freshly chopped coriander (optional)
1 Beef stock cube
200g Dried egg noodles
1 Diced green pepper
2 Sticks of thinly sliced celery
1.5 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder
0.5 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
0.5 tbsp Light soy sauce
1 tsp sweetener
0.5 tsp Chilli powder (optional)
Handful of freshly chopped coriander (optional)
1 Beef stock cube
200g Dried egg noodles
Directions:
- Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker EXCEPT the egg noodles
- Add just enough water to cover and switch on low setting for around 8 to 9 hours OR 3.5 to 4 hours on high
- Just before you are ready to serve, add the noodles, replace the lid and cook for around 10 to 15 minutes until cooked through.
- If sauce is a little thin, leave the lid off whilst noodles warm through
- If you need to thicken the sauce, use smash flakes to keep syn free or use cornflour and syn accordingly!
