1 Diced green pepper
2 Sticks of thinly sliced celery
1.5 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder

Directions:

  • Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker EXCEPT the egg noodles
  • Add just enough water to cover and switch on low setting for around 8 to 9 hours OR 3.5 to 4 hours on high
  • Just before you are ready to serve, add the noodles, replace the lid and cook for around 10 to 15 minutes until cooked through.
  • If sauce is a little thin, leave the lid off whilst noodles warm through
  • If you need to thicken the sauce, use smash flakes to keep syn free or use cornflour and syn accordingly!
